The Mobile Culinary Theatre made its debut at the 2008 Niagara Food Festival and was a main attraction for the more than 85,000 visitors.
This fully functional mobile demonstration kitchen can be the centerpiece of your next event. Attracting notable chefs will provide great entertainment and education for your audience.
At 28 feet long and 15 feet deep (with the stage out) there’s plenty of room for your chefs to put on a great show. The Mobile Culinary Theatre also allows for excellent views from a full semi-circular audience, maximizing its footprint at your event.
Including modern technology (video camera hooked up to flat screen TV’s, PA system for music and vocal reinforcement) and tons of up-to-date appliances, there’s nothing else a chef would need to engage and enthral your audience.
Plus, it’s mobile! Get moving and reserve it for your event today!

“I have enjoyed using the MCT on numerous occasions with great pleasure. The MCT houses a fully equipped kitchen to suit any chef’s needs, is clean and frames my presentation in a manner that makes me look professional. The built-in AV facilities ensure that absolutely everyone watching can see the action, and its design that includes an awning guarantees that even in inclement weather, the show can go on!”
Anna Olson, Host, Fresh with Anna Olson, Food Network Canada
“We had a tremendous opportunity to design and built a Mobile Culinary Theatre for our chef demonstrations at the Niagara Food Festival. With support from government and industry, we were able to put together a permanent showcase that is great for the audience, the chef and the community.”
Michael Olson, Chef Professor, Niagara Culinary Institute
“The Culinary Mobile Theatre gave Welland’s Market Square what every Farmers’ Market patron should experience. To see and smell the food customer’s purchase is one of the delights we don’t get to experience at the supermarkets. The Culinary Mobile Theatre is a delicious experience.”
Bernice Booth, Market Square Coordinator, The City of Welland
“The Mobile Culinary Theatre is the most ingenious kitchen I have ever had the privilege to cook in. The entire vision of the Mobile Culinary Theatre is unique and highly entertaining: the celebration of food combined with culinary education, all without being restricted to a specific geographic region. Festivals, private events, and celebrations of all kinds can utilise the theatre which will, in turn, draw more people to these events thus contributing to their success. I have had the pleasure of being the demonstrating chef on several occasions as well as working behind the scenes of the Mobile Culinary Theatre and have heard nothing but rave reviews from all who have watched the demonstrations. As many have said to me: It is difficult not to be impressed by such a remarkable concept!”
Ruth Nixon, Chef and Owner of The Wisk & Ladle
